The Ajusco Broadcast: A Beer Tasting Casting

A beer tasting as a casting call: a legends podcast recorded in a mountain cabin needs a host, and every diction test comes with a beer.

The story

To test candidates' diction and tolerance to distractions, each challenge comes with one of the sponsor's beers.

Between legends and microphones, the audience discovers who has what it takes to host.

How it works

A casting in rounds: tell legends, keep your diction and stay calm… with a different beer in each round.

Whoever passes every test becomes the new host and wins the tasting.

The characters

  • The Producer: demanding and always chasing “the right tone.”
  • The Sponsor: just wants everyone talking about his beer.

What's included

  • Theatrical show with two characters
  • Beer tasting
  • Casting rounds and a final winner

What you take home

  • Getting to know different beer styles
  • Hearing and telling Mexican legends
  • Plenty of laughs

History and culture in every scene

As in all our experiences, the hosts' dialogue and the event's activities are written with real information about Mexican history and culture. You have fun and, without even noticing, you learn. Behind the humor there's culture: the dialogue explains the Mexican customs, traditions and characters that inspire the satire.

Format and customization

“The Ajusco Broadcast” is one of our guided tastings productions. We can adapt it to your venue, group size, menu and language, as a private event or on dates open to the public.
