The story
Magic has been outsourced. Handwritten letters were replaced by big data, search history, 3 a.m. WhatsApp statuses and suspicious likes. Everything you did this year was analyzed by the algorithm… and the system crashed.
Now, during dinner, guests discover they officially deserve no gift — only coal. Amid absurd forms and questionable moral judgments, they must convince the system — and Melchior, who no longer remembers what century it is — that they deserve dessert. It's not a dinner: it's an audit.
How it works
Each guest receives an Official Appeal Letter and has three minutes to justify the year's mischief. Melchior interrupts, gets things wrong, defends people at random or condemns saints.
In the end, the system decides: dessert (the gift) or symbolic coal. The hosts improvise with guests' real stories.
The characters
- The Royal Logistics Manager: neurotic and obsessive; speaks in metrics, percentages and red alerts.
- Melchior: disoriented; mistakes guests for shepherds, tablets for stone tablets and Christmas for Independence Day.
What's included
- Printed Behavior Appeal letters
- Symbolic coal
- “System-approved” dessert for those who pass the audit
- Live performance by the hosts
- Themed menu
- Tech-meets-Christmas décor (tablets, lists, stamps, alarms)
What you take home
- Laughing at your own contradictions
- Wondering what “being good” really means
- The feeling of having bribed the universe with creativity
History and culture in every scene
As in all our experiences, the hosts' dialogue and the event's activities are written with real information about Mexican history and culture. You have fun and, without even noticing, you learn. Behind the humor there's culture: the dialogue explains the Mexican customs, traditions and characters that inspire the satire.
