The story
Mexico's silver mines — Guanajuato, Zacatecas, Taxco — have their own legends, like the deity who guards the veins.
To get back to the surface, the miners must win the favor of the mine goddess so she opens a way out.
How it works
Teams find silver veins hidden in the food while they “hydrate” with the mezcal tasting.
Then they negotiate, balance the scales and weigh the silver to summon the goddess.
